Compositeur de Manchester, Lee Patterson se concentre sur le monde sous-marin du Frioul. A l’issue de plusieurs séjours sur l’île, il accumule les enregistrements sous-marins, et de ce matériau il construit une œuvre sonore diffusée en boucle par un système de haut-parleurs suspendus au-dessus de l’embarcadère de Port-Frioul. On chemine sur le port, et on entend une œuvre sous-marine locale !

Port-Frioul landing stageLee Patterson, a composer from Manchester, concentrates on the terrestrial, aerial and sub-marine world(s) of Frioul island. During several stays on the island, he has accumulated underwater recordings and, using this material, he builds a sound work that is played in a loop by a system of loudspeakers suspended above the Port-Frioul landing stage. As you wind your way towards the harbour, you hear a local work!
